RoseGate Equestrian Center is operated by Josiah and Samantha Kitchel. Whose mission is to sustain a reputable horse boarding facility that gives back to the community.
Samantha Kitchel, grew up on a horse farm in Liberty Indiana where they bred, trained, and cared for twenty or so horses at all times. She was
always involved in horse activities from ten years of 4-H horse and pony club to family vacations on horseback. Her first job was working at a Quarter Horse stable and then she increased her horse veterinarian care by volunteering at the Purdue University Large Animal Hospital. Furthering her horse care knowledge, she worked at a Thoroughbred farm and a Dressage barn. She believes all of her horse experience has given her an understanding of high quality horse care.
In her professional life, Samantha specialized in Human Resources and Customer Service. She had the wonderful opportunity of being the Volunteer Director of the nonprofit the Michael Scott Mater Foundation, and currently she is the Membership Chair on the board of directors of the In Print Professional Writer’s Group. And, she finished her Human Resources certificate from Penn Foster College this year.
Josiah Kitchel, shares a love for horses as well. He was a ten year horse and pony 4-Her and still enjoys having horses in his life. Growing up Josiah lived in town and did not have the opportunity to be around his horses all of the time. He wants to provide people with the opportunity to
be around their horses and have them well cared for.
